What a wonderful, all-inclusive 'store' (that seems like such an understatement)! They have gorgeous plants (see my orchid photo), fresh baked goods (donuts, cookies, cakes, breads, pies...), fruit dept., veggie dept., butcher, cheeses (hundred), coffees... It's fun to walk through and experience their beautiful foods! (Check out my colorful peppers & apples pictures!) Make sure you bring lots of shopping bags for all the goodies you'll find.
For almost two decades I lived in Madison (NJ), less than 10 miles away from Wightman Farms. I was addicted to their Apple Cider Donuts. I don’t live in Madison anymore, but I think about those donuts. This weekend on a hunt for some cider donuts, I took a trip to Delicious Orchards (Colts Neck NJ). The place has a large variety of Apple Cider (tart, sweet, different combos etc); 10 plus Pies; Yes Apple Cider Donuts; Fruits; Vegetables; .......; So much more. This place is something else. I cannot believe I found a place which has better Apple Cider Donuts than Wightman Farms.
What a delightful place to spend a day. The selection was off the chain. There was everything from a single apple cider donut to mountains of fresh organic produce and a full service meat dept. The selection of desserts and baked goods was almost overwhelming. I am SO GLAD that I don't live close enough for this to be a regular stop!
Often shop here from the large selection of fruits, fresh veggies and bakery items, coffee beans, and deli meats, to mention only a few. You will love every visit. Located in Colts Neck, just north of State Route 18 on Hwy 34.
Great variety of treats! The honey roasted peanut butter and cider donuts were especially terrific.
What an amazing place. Reminds me of Apple Hill in Placerville, Ca. But smaller. Would highly recommend this establishment. They have everything and more. I've been on the hunt for Bockwurst German sausage and Hog head cheese this is one of the very few places that carry it. The desserts are to die for. Customer service is great and overall vibe of this place is wonderful. I'm going again this Sunday
It's a very family-friendly place. A relaxed, take-your-time atmosphere and great, hot freshly-made food and gifts. "Try it, you'll like it"
A little pricey, but not bad for the quality. Love the Irish soda bread and the biscuits brown and serve. Can always find an interesting jam, fruit spread or jelly to try. I also love the blueberry crumb pie. The staff is always polite and nice even at the height of the season when it's crowded beyond words!
